[Sydney, NSW/ Australia] – April 21, 2026 – ODA Advisory Pty Ltd (ODAA), a subsidiary of PBL Law Group, has confirmed the community charities that will receive donations from advisory fees generated during the current period.a subsidiary of PBL Law Group, has confirmed the community charities that will receive donations from advisory fees generated over the next year.
Through its philanthropic advisory model, ODA Advisory’s senior advisors act pro bono to ODAA. This allows the firm to undertake client advisory mandates while directing the resulting profits to carefully chosen, community‑focused charities.
The ODAA Board has adopted an eligibility policy under which beneficiaries are reviewed each year. Charities are assessed on relative financial need, clarity of purpose and demonstrable community benefit, and are asked to nominate a specific expenditure or project for the funds.
For 2026–27, ODA Advisory has selected the following beneficiaries:
- We Care Connect – Wyong and East Maitland, NSW
We Care Connect connects community donations with local children in need, providing practical, everyday essentials such as clothing, car seats, prams and cots to help reverse the impact of childhood poverty. Targeting the 30,000 children living in poverty across the Central Coast and Hunter regions, the volunteer team supports more than 200 children each month and re‑homes over 10,000 items. ODAA’s donation will assist with clearly defined costs linked to this work. - Muscular Dystrophy NSW – “New Diagnosis Companion” / Peer Connect
Established in 1957, Muscular Dystrophy NSW is the state’s leading not‑for‑profit supporting people living with neuromuscular conditions (NMCs) and their families through information, connection and advocacy. Around 13,000 people in NSW live with a rare, complex NMC. Donations from ODAA will support the “New Diagnosis Companion” program, which provides personalised support to families from the moment a child is diagnosed, and links closely with MDNSW’s broader Peer Connect initiatives. - MND Victoria
MND Victoria’s support services are delivered to people living with motor neurone disease in Victoria, border regions of NSW and Tasmania, currently supporting 764 clients. Its services focus on helping people live better for longer, remain active and stay safe in their communities, delivered across six key program areas. ODAA’s donation will assist in expanding the reach and capacity of these programs. - CALM Inc – Bonnells Bay Youth & Community Centre Project
CALM Inc is a not‑for‑profit organisation delivering youth, family and community services across Lake Macquarie. CALM is working to re‑establish the Bonnells Bay Youth and Community Centre as a shared community asset in one of NSW’s fastest‑growing communities (population approximately 4,000 and rising). ODAA’s support will assist with establishment costs while the Centre’s operating model matures to a sustainable footing.
“There is no doubt that with our recent expansion of advisors and geographic focus, the extent of beneficiaries will increase,” said Gail Ransley, Director of ODA Advisory. “It is very satisfying to support charities that offer key services to our communities.”
“We also want to recognise the excellent collegiate support for our charitable endeavours from Paul Sadler Consultancy and Impact HR Consulting – it is great to work alongside you,” Ms Ransley added.
