Associate Lawyer

Mark is an Associate Lawyer who obtained his legal qualifications from the University of Sydney and is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

Prior to commencing law, Mark practised as an Electrical Engineer for over 20 years in a variety of maintenance, operations and project roles in both the public and private sectors. He has held a number of senior roles including Project Director and National Operations Manager positions in the energy sector, delivering a broad range of high value construction projects for both internal and external clients including Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors. His most recent roles include delivering a range of renewable energy projects for clients.

Mark is passionate about bridging the engineering and legal divide. He provides legal advice that is bang on target for any given context. He specialises in Contract Law, Major Project Law (front end negotiations and contract review) as well as Property and Strata Law. His clients appreciate the no-nonsense approach to issue resolution and he is able to draw on a vast past experience to deliver just the right balance of theory and pragmatism to dispute resolution.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his family including trying to keep up with his teenage sons on their mountain bikes and going for drives in the local area. He also occasionally rides his motorcycle with friends and balances this with playing classical guitar.

Raea Khan

Raea is Managing Director and Principal Lawyer for PBl Law Group. Raea assists clients with major projects, property developments, construction and strata law.

He has worked in Western Australia and Queensland assisting with expansion projects in the energy and resource sector and now predominately advises clients in Strata and Community Association matters.

He is a member of the Australian College of Strata Lawyers where majority of his work is advising developers and owners corporations with dispute related minor and major defects, strata governance and common property litigation. He is proficient at leading negotiations and meetings.

Raea has a particular interest in the commercial aspect of any dispute and always tries to weigh up the risk, reward and benefit of legal proceedings at each different stage.

Raea enjoys all forms of competitive sport, including Crossfit and actively participates in Triathlons, representing Australia as an age group athlete. He was a member of Red Head Surf Lifesaving club.
